This Carideas release was created for the Friends of Laphroaig and was their Islay Fest (Fèis Ìle) bottling in 2011. The Ileach (Gaelic for "native of Islay") was created by John Campbell, the first Islay-born Master Distiller for Laphroaig, and is a bottling of whiskies aged in ex-bourbon Maker's Mark barrels.
It is bottled at 50.5% ABV.
