Crafted by Master Blender Calum Fraser, Cask Favourites is a nod to two past well-loved Càirdeas bottlings — 2019's Triple Wood & 2021's PX Cask. Here, the single malt was first matured in over-charred first- and second-fill ex-bourbon & quarter casks. It was then finished in PX casks. Aged for a minimum of 10 years, it was bottled at 52.

Tasting Notes
"The aromas and flavor veer fairly close to savory profile. The nose is reminiscent of fresh baked pretzels cooked over briny driftwood, with aromas of smoked nuts, and dried fruit. That salty, malted pretzel characteristic reflects on the medium weight palate, with flavors of tart apricot, barbecued pineapple, salted nuts, dried dates and apricots and elements of mesquite barbecue smoke. A very subtle note of red bell pepper comes into the finish, adding a light, sweet vegetal twist to fan the smoke, spice, and nuttiness. "
