Tasting Notes
"The nose is not unlike what you'd imagine peated porridge would smell like. Slightly briny too, and lots of coconut, with a touch of barbecue smoke and citrus, but overall a tad shy. The palate is weak. Slightly ashy, some pepper and a touch of medicinal peat, but not much else. The finish is very short, especially considering that this is heavily peated. Laphroaig is capable of producing much higher quality whisky than the Four Oak."
