Laphroaig Lore

Fumé, très bien!

Not sure I have the context to rate this one properly. Has more depth than the 10, but not sure I see enough difference for double the price. Smokey, peaty, Briny, medicinal, salty, cloves. Very peat forward, which is hard to see through

It’s good. I just enjoy the CS 10, QC and Triple Wood more. And those 3 are all cheaper than Lore.

I really like this. A lot. The nose is salty and earthy, with a sweet pear-like scent. There are light notes of sulfur like a lit match. The smell is sweet almost like mesquite. The tastes moves from leather, to sweet, to salty almost like pickle brine wrapped in fresh leather. Its lightly peppery and his a mild bitter finish.
