This one is a jumble. A Laphroaig lightweight for sure, but the peat is there. The iodine is light as is the brine and there is the sugar. I had some apple notes and maybe licorice and mint.

Classic Laphroaig nose seaweed, salt and kerosene. Initial taste is briny, oily. At the end of the day I think I'd rather just pay the extra for the An Oa.
Not as smoky as I think it is. Well balance between the smoke and peat, very light on the palate and nose. Do catch a slight hint of seaspray and some citrius notes. After taste is quite abit of smoky notes. Good entry into peated whiskies.
