Larceny Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch A121

Warm sweetness that permeates through the mouth. Excellent.

As a Larceny fan, I was excited to try a pour of this. The note was great. The palate and finish were a bit less stellar. Since this was a 1 oz pour with dinner, I'm not convinced that I spent enough time with it, but I came away with the impression that this was only slightly better than the standard bottle. This is nearly identical. I was hoping for added complexity and richness, but only really found additional spice and heat.

Baking spices and some sort of fruit smell. Figs or raisins. Maple come in slightly.

Leather tobacco and oak nose. Nutty upfront with a musky wood finish

Caramel candy peanuts on the nose with a nutty vanilla taste. Long peanut butter toasted barrel finish.
