Tasting Notes
"The nose is reminiscent of plum jam spread on toasted multigrain bread. The palate is rich and roasty with a rich, full-bodied consistency. Flavors of grape jam, dried dates (sultanas), mixed cocktail nuts, baking spices, and toffee are capped off by a hint of musty oak (the good kind associated with fine, mature wine that's been kept in a temperature-controlled cellar). This is a satisfying, complex treat that would match well with nutty chocolate or a creamy cheese course. "
