Uncorking- Caramel, vanilla, apple, vanilla wafers on the nose. Taste lots of oak, vanilla, caramel, apple skins, brown sugar, surprisingly easy to drink. Finishes with more oak, caramel stays on the tongue, mild chocolate and virtually no burn. This was a big jump from the base larceny.
Past the strong notes of alcohol are sweet notes of vanilla ice cream from a creamery with pralines. Further inhales bring smoked apples. On the palate is a blast of buttered bread, peanut butter, and toasted peanuts, with dark chocolate and hazelnut coating the back end. The finish is smooth with nougats. As the whiskey opens up, the nose reveals fresh toffee and caramel, with palate really emphasizing dark chocolate with a hint of fudge. An excellent whiskey if you can find.

A good one, if you’re lucky enough to stumble upon it. Larceny BP is shaping up to be a great high proof wheater and I’m really enjoying the bottle I have. I think it’s only going to get harder to get but it is a good drink.
