Larsen Aqua Ignis Cognac
Cognac
Larsen // Cognac, France
Larsen's Aqua Ignis (Latin for "water fire") is made using eaux de vie from the Fins Bois and Bons Bois. After aging in traditional French oak casks, the eaux de vie is blended and the recasked in to special "Aqua Ignis III" barrels.
These 250L-sized barrels are plunged into hot water and then toasted over hot fire in a brasero (type of heater). This process is done three times.
