Peated Single Malt
Ledaig // Islands, Scotland
Distilled at the Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, Ledaig is actually the original name of the distillery upon its 1798 launch. Now, Ledaig is the peated whisky produced here while Tobermory is the un-peated one. Aged in ex-bourbon casks, this 10 year old whisky has a peat level of 35 ppm and is un-chill filtered.
Peated Single Malt100% malted barley from a single distillery. Dried with peat.
"There is a pleasant sweet bacon smoke on the nose along with some peanut brittle. The whisky is full and soft on the palate with a nice bit of bite. The smoke is more akin to roasting coals rather than wood and finishes with some baking spices"
