Reviewed December 12, 2020 (edited March 19, 2021)This can be a pretty good scotch but def not for the faint of heart. It’s very smokey, more smoke than peat, and it’s getting a ashtray level smoke. I’m personally more of a fan of vegetal peat and gentler smoke, that was turning me off somewhat. But I can detect and appreciate the lovely scotch whisky underneath the smoke, which is very nice. I may like it better after I get more use to the smoke and peat, right now, it’s going to sit on my shelf. -

Reviewed December 5, 2020 (edited December 28, 2023)It had medium peat kick to it when it was just opened, but now it is too sweet for my liking. It feels somewhat similar to the peated Irish whisky Connemara.
