Sweet iodine and peat on the nose. The palate chili sweet to sugar then creamy. The finish is warming with smoke.

Review is pretty accurate. The peat is overpowering though. For me, after the peat, oloroso notes and licorice notes predominate. Some cloves as well. Decent but I wouldn’t seek it out.

Nose: Sweet peat smoke, spice, honey Palate: Allspice, clove, chocolate, oak, hint of fruit Finish: Clove, lemon zest, hint of salt Tasty but slightly unusual - spicy and savoury. 7/10
