Tasting Notes
"Fresh orange citrus overtones and spices, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom, the whisky drops into toasted malts, slight acetone notes and reminiscent of grandmother's wine cabinet. Dark plums, raisins and cherry wood bring about the end of a succulent whisky. On the tongue, the whisky is sugary sweet, the orange tones from nose turning prickly and the cinnamon becoming more prevalent. The initial taste is prickly alcohol, dying down to a cloying mouth feel. The finish is long, cloying, with sweet citrus fruits and pear, creamy caramel and honey bring about a marvelous end to the whisky. "
