Longmorn 14 Cask Strength by "The Old Malt Cask"

Purchased @ K&L Wines in California as a high recomendation from their tasting staff stateing "Amazing !". My impression now afte sampling 1/3 of the bottle to today 10-26-2020 ( 11 months ) Very light in collor showing poor quality of reused casks . How many times reused?? Dont know but this is the lightest whisky I ever purchased. Tasteing impressions = Very week and unmemorable taste with a strong alchohol burn of a much younger whisky. Feel ripped off on these K&L bottlings just for them. I personally will never buy these obscure whiskies again and will not trust K&L reviews. Just my experience. Yours may be different. Very dissapointed in the 4 bottled of special K&L releases they were promoting as amazing. More like barrels the distillers was trying to get rid of because it was not good enough for their main lineup!
