Luxardo Limoncello

Really good.

It's a good limoncello. Intensely lemon, sweet but keeping the bite.

Served cold, neat Smells sour, lemon peel Tastes bitter, sweet

Clear lemon scent, not too floral or chemical. Golden yellow color (slightly cloudy) and medium-thick body. Nice bottle and labeling. Sweetness in the mouth and then clear lemon flavor with just a bit of bitter peel. Floral vanilla and lemon finish. Very nice, sweet yet tart and not perfume-y. This is only my third variety of limoncello out of an entire WORLD of these, so can't say much. The best was a small bottle in Venice (brand?, who knows), but this is the better of the two I've had in the states. Also a third more expensive at $35, but worth it for sipping. If you're using it in a Vodka Lemondrop... it doesn't really matter.
