Mac-Talla Mara Cask Strength

Buttery Carmel at first. Lots of flavor, almost ashy.

Almost buttery at first, and then spicy. Smokey across the board. A fairly interesting dram.

Smells of dark chocolate and Christmas pudding. Evokes the first bit of a dry pudding where first the butter hits your mouth and then you’re chewing on dry raisins and the base. First smell was strongly of dark chocolate, and then on the palate it’s butter and then spicy. Not quite as harmonious as I normally prefer.

Nose: smoke, rubber hints of mint Body : full flavored, salty, garlic, lot less and more gentle smoke than expected, overall relatively mild Finish: very sweet finish Overall a nice combination of flavours

Nose: brine, smoke, iodine Taste: sweet, vanilla Great combo of peat and oak

NOSE: a lot of peat, vanilla, bit of sweets, abut of flowers TASTE: peated as hell, quite spicy, a bit of nuts FINISH: spicy & long You can tell it’s a young whisky, very nice to drink. The CS does the job, but few more years in the barrel and it’s would rock the world
