Macallan Quest

Wonderfully smooth but still with a good amount of spice/flavor but not overwhelming

Complex, smooth, intense and concentrated yet velvety. Coffee, smoke, apricot, vanilla, cloves, earth, pepper, caramelized banana… Delicious

A- amber -1, high viscosity N- tangerines, orange peels, green apples, honey, caramel, cotton candy P- sweet arrival, medium spicy, sultanas, tangerines, green apples, honey, toffee, seltzer, oak F- short finish, sweet-fruity aftertaste C- entry level dram, not complex but enjoyable. Not my cup of tea

Pretty basic and classic Macallan malt. Doesn't carry much of the sherried profile suggested by the casks used here. I'm getting a lot more citrus than anything else. Decent whisky but not impressive by any means. There are much better options for the money.
