Citrus, salt, and bacon on the nose. Salty on the palate.

Wow, salt bomb (in the best way). It’s the sea with hints of vanilla.

Evokes: hiking through an alpine forest on a cold morning. Your shoes are kicking up the slightly dry, top layer of dirt on the forest floor. Smoke from a nearby cabin is wafting through the air. 🍄🍁🔥 Quite young with a burn that starts deep in the chest. Nice wrapping of vanilla and juniper essence.

I get earthy and vanilla from this. Notes of pine. Seems like a fairly young whisky. Not bad, but not my favourite.

Lovely and balanced dram. Vanilla from the oak, toffee, a bit of lemon, mixed with a healthy smoke. Toffee & a medicinal note on the nose. Smokey finish with a medicinal/Jaggermeister flavor. Day 4 of Peaty advent calendar 2022.
