Mad River Maple Rum

This maple rum is produced in Vermont's Mad River Valley, where the distillery takes its name. It's initially made using the same process as their First Run Rum, which is distilled from sourced demerara sugar that's fair-trade certified. It matures in a combination of toasted and charred barrels, before finishing in barrels previously used to age Vermont maple syrup.
