This Maestro Dobel bottling is part of a series of extra aged tequilas in its 50 range so named to honor founder Juan Dobel's 50th birthday. Every year a new limited edition Maestro Dobel 50 Extra Añejo will be released and this one honors the year he was born -- 1967. Using 100% blue Weber agave sourced from a single family-owned estate in Jalisco, the tequila is aged for a minimum of three years in American and French oak barrels.
Then the tequila is finished aging in ex-sherry wine casks. Available in limited quantities at select retailers across the US as of August 2022. (SRP $950).
