Notes leaned on the sweeter side and finished a touch hot - biggest complaint was the thin mouthfeel

Aroma has a green note that passes quickly to an acetaldehyde type aroma. Gives way to toasted oak. Taste resembles the nose. Orris type profile that comes off as green and musty. Gives way to astringent, mouth drying woodiness. This was the last bottle on the shelf in this style so time may not have been kind to it.

One of my go to bourbons. Love it neat or over one big ice cube! Can’t beat the quality for the price point.
