Maker's Mark 46 French Oaked

A fine improvement over typical makers mark. The oak staves really bring out the more robust flavors flavors of makers mark. Overall a fine sipper either neat or on ice with a soothing flavor and a welcoming after note that stays on the palate just long enough to satisfy the taste buds without being over bearing. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good wheater.

Average bourbon with vanilla and an oaky finish. Not spectacular and you would do yourself better by just buying regular Makers.

Peppery with French white oak

Honeyed and floral, with hints of freshly cut lumber. The wood aroma is fantastic and blends superbly with the honey. It's all fairly straightforward, but it gets the job done. It's good bourbon.

Not really a fan of Maker's Mark. However, this is some good stuff. Much more intense flavors, whilst being less alcohol forward.
