Reviewed July 3, 2022 (edited October 29, 2022)On the nose I get an assortment of sweet notes including maple, caramel, vanilla, and oak. Nothing too unique, but pleasant enough. Upon first sip I notice thats its very rich and full bodied with an overall sweet flavor profile. I got more of the caramel and vanilla and oak mainly. I couldn't pick out much of anything else. Very spicy finish, heavy with oak, with a decent amount of heat. Packs a punch. Left me with an aftertaste of coffee. Overall it was a little one sided on the sweet end of the spectrum. I liked the full bodied mouthfeel, but didn't care for the spicy finish. Plus it was a little hot for my liking. -

Reviewed May 5, 2022 (edited October 29, 2022)This is a Private Selection bottle found at the local Albertson’s labeled “Sugar and Spice”. Nose has French vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, toffee, sugar cookies and toasty oak notes. Palate is buttery and semisweet with vanilla, caramel, baking spices, oak and cookies, maybe Madeleines. Finish is medium length with light spices and sugary notes. Lives up to its name.
