Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2022 BRT-01

Hands down my favorite Makers. Great proof on it to give that warm hug. On the nose I get French toast, Carmel, maple syrup, and a little bit of vanilla. It’s very similar on the palate, almost like stack of pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and a dollop of that whipped butter. The finish fades to tons of cherry. and that warm hug is prevalent from start to finish.

Nose of faint cherry and or strawberry and a bit of oak Palate of ripe berry, creamy vanilla Finish is medium long with light cinnamon powder, barrel char and oak Very nice pour

Candied maple bacon is a shockingly accurate descriptor of the nose. Great mouthfeel and bright praline pecans on the finish. This is some excellent whiskey.

Nose is INCREDIBLE. Wow. Pure thick maple candied bacon. Tobacco as well. Palette punches immediately with spice and barrel, fades away into DELICIOUS s’mores. Burnt marshmallow with chocolate. Nice pleasant fade away rhat sits with you. Don’t think I enjoy the first part of the palette but 2/3 of it is utterly sublime.

Nose is fantastic. Salted caramel, toffee, toasted wood. Palate is similar with heavier toast and some baking spices. I really liked this.
