Mammoth Woolly Rye

Tastes like a smooth rye

Nose - rich caramel, surprisingly sweet smell, light eucalyptus notes Taste - light tree sap notes, rye spice forward and some pepper Finish - dry and a bit herbal, light burn

This is an interesting Rye. An initial rush of sweetness morphs into a more traditional Rye pepperness. Overall a nice sipper, but not on par with the best in industry.

Extremely sweet, too sweet for a rye in my opinion. Very little spice, which is what I really want out of a rye. Caramel, malt, vanilla
