While smoky and slightly spicy, it is smooth, full bodied, and finishes easy.

Honey and peat on the nose. There is more honey in the taste followed by fruit and spice. There is some peat in the finish. Just enough to make it noticeable and balanced, but not overwhelming.

Tastes a lot like sweet tea.

Darker and sweeter than my usual experience with Japanese whiskies. Minimal burn. Tad bitter? Robust profile but ultimately, a bit flat and malty. Reminds me of a less molasses-y bourbon

Got some malty notes, but that is honestly about it. Not a very strong nose, palate, nor finish. Overall, not too complex. Very smooth which makes it ideal for people that aren’t too into whisky
