Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels
Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels is made with used cognac barrels known as "futs roux" or red barrels due to the reddish tinge found on the wood. These barrels achieve this "futs roux" between 4-8 years of use.
These were made from Troncais oak which were lightly toasted. It debuted in Asian markets in 2018 and it will replace the brand's Medallion VSOP version in all markets.
