Mary Dowling Whiskey Company (MDWC) makes its debut with two bourbon bottlings including this Tequila Barrel Finished Bourbon. Co-founded by Whiskey Maker Kaveh Zamanian, MDWC is named for an influential female distiller making bourbon prior to Prohibition. She shifted production to Juárez, Mexico during Prohibition which explains this release.
Made with a high-malt double malt recipe, the Kentucky bourbon was aged for 4 years in new toasted and charred Kelvin Cooperage American oak. Then the bourbon finishes its maturation in American oak ex-tequila barrels. Available at select US retailers beginning August 2023.
