Masterson's Straight Rye Whiskey 10 Year

2021 👃 floral, honeyed lemon drops. 👅 Oak, vanilla, just a hint of citrus, a lot of peppery spices, a lot more oak and spice on the lengthy finish.

Smooth as a little bland

Tbh, this was a random pick to complete a flight. Very lucky pick! The heat is tempered by the fruitiness. Loads of vanilla. Super smooth. Heat is slightly lacking for me.

This a wickedly smooth rye. It’s very light in flavor almost delicate. Not my favorite style but a very good pure rye whiskey.

Meh flat not much of a finish thin, not the rye I enjoy
