Mathilde Framboise Liqueur
Mathilde // France
Mathilde Framboise Liqueur is made with three types of raspberries: Lloyd George from Scotland and Rose de Plombières and Violette de Boux, both from Burgundy. These raspberries are pressed and infused in alcohol for a time. Then the berry spirit passes through a sieve before sugar and water is added. No preservatives or stabilizers are added. Bottled at 18% ABV.
Fruit LiqueursFruit(s) is the the dominant flavor for the liqueur. Often, but not always, the primary fruit flavor will be listed on the bottle. And sometimes the fruit will be listed in French. The base spirit is often neutral spirit, but other liquors such as brandy can be used. Sugar is added before bottling. ABV varies widely.
