Maxime Trijol is a cognac house that has been growers and producers since the mid 1850's. They also purchase wine from other families in cognac to help supplement what they create. They have a Grande Champagne VSOP bottling as well, but this is their Classic VSOP bottling.

Also, if labeled as the following, minimum aging is: VS-2 years, VSOP-4 years, Napoléon 6 years, XO-10 years (as of April 2018).

Tasting Notes

"The nose leans heavily on stone fruits like apricots and white peaches along with green grapes and orange peel. The cognac is soft and sweet on your tongue with only a slight tannic note from the wood aging. Those same stone fruits, only dried, appear on the finish which is warming and not bitter."
