Tasting Notes
"At first glance, the barely there pale-gold coloring leads you to believe this spirit may be, just that, barely there. Upon nosing, whisps of sweet grain and citrus rise from the glass. On the palate, this whiskey is light but has a bolder backbone than you may assume. Notes of wet stone, lemon, caramel and some more tingly grain sweetness lead to a slight white pepper and silky, cozy finish. For an Irish whiskey fan looking to delve into American whiskies, McKenzie provides a nice bridge. "
