Merlet Crème de Mûre Sauvage is a wild blackberry liqueur made from two varieties of blackberries (Black Diamond and Himalaya) along with a small amount of red berries. The fruit is soaks in alcohol to extract the flavor before it is pressed and filtered. Sugar is added to the infusion before bottling at 18% ABV.

The base spirit is often neutral spirit, but other liquors such as brandy can be used. Sugar is added before bottling. ABV varies widely.
