"This mezcal starts off with lemon, but quickly evolves into gummy bears, passion fruit, pineapple, juniper and newly-tanned leather. The fact that this was distilled in a clay still becomes very apparent on the palate with complex and intriguing with notes of cedar, fresh leather, chalk, terra cotta, coriander, sage and marjoram. The sensation is quite tannic and high toned, so much so that it feels almost ethereal. The mouth puckers from its bright acidity leaving you quenched and ready for another taste."
