Mezcal Joven
Mezcalero // San Baltazar Guelavila, Oaxaca, Mexico
The Mezcalero brand was created jointly by Craft Distillers, a California-based company focused on promoting hand crafted spirits, and Los Danzantes, a Oaxaca based distillery. Both work with small distilleries, often family run and owned, throughout Mexico to produce hand-crafted artisan mezcals made with traditional methods. This mezcal, released in 2012, is distilled from agave espadín and agave tepeztate and produced by father-son distillers, Don Cosme and Cyril Hernandez from the town of San Baltazar Guelavila.
Production was limited to 636 bottles. It is bottled at 47.9% ABV.
