Michter's US*1 American Whiskey

Excellent. A bourbon like whiskey that doesn’t taste too much like a sweet candy for children. Uses sweetness as a taste profile that’s balanced out by a cereal note so it has some complexity and balance. Nice.

Caramel, vanilla, mint, citrus zest

Sweet aromas. Caramel. Wood. Candy corn. Spice hits up front on the tongue. Middle is sweeter. Medium to long finish with wood and a nice burn

Nose: butterscotch, vanilla icing, lemon Palate: follows the nose, a little spice but nothing out of bounds, thin Finish: smooth and easy, not long Really nice flavor for such a light proof, seems to be the michters specialty, this is an easy sipper that reminds me of glenfarclas, it's a combination of scotch and bourbon to me, not very complex but enjoyable

Creamy Vanilla and oak, hint of tobacco. I am not getting the butterscotch but will keep looking for it. Very smooth, highly enjoyable. Glad I gave it a try.
