Michter's US*1 American Whiskey

Doesn’t have the depth of most bourbon, not much heat at 83 proof either. That said, very smooth and sweet. Nice easy sipper.

So good. Vanilla bean on the nose. Delicate mouth with subtle leather on the finish as it travels south.

I think this is very well balanced. Not at spicy smooth but yet robust flavor profile. Enjoyed on a cold night.

By far the best American whiskey I have put in my face. Waves of spiciness and vanilla tea in the nose. On the tongue it changes dramatically over time. Not unapproachable for new whiskey drinkers. My wife loves it.

This tastes like water. Very thin, no flavor or complexity. I did not enjoy at all
