Michter's US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey

A solid sipper. I've only had one pour so far, but enjoyed it. Its git all the classics bourbon tastes, with an underlying, not unpleasant, earthy dried corn note. Not a bad price point, but its surprisingly hard to find around here. Its a coin toss as to whether I would purchase again at $50.

Burnt sugar and vanilla on thr nose. Lovely smooth caramel finish.

Blue cheese on the nose gives way to maraschino cherry sweetness as the two blend into a delightful fig-goat cheese pairing effect.

This is delicious stuff. Im always hesitant to purchace anything under 45% ABV, but Michter’s consistently impresses with how much flavor it packs. Price point seems a bit high, but this is impressive nectar and a regular in my stock.
