The palate is a mix of maple syrup sweetness with cocoa, clove, nutmeg, ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon, along with rich toffee flavors, and brown bread. The bitter-sweet finish lingers with earthy cereal notes, oaky char, sharp spices, tangy apricot, and a hint of brown sugar sweetness. "
