Midleton Very Rare 2022
Midleton Very Rare 2022 marks the second release for Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman and the 39th edition in the annual series. This Irish whiskey is made from a blend of single pot still and grain whiskeys which were aged between 12-33 years.
The barrels used for maturation were lightly charred first-fill and refill ex-bourbon barrels made from American oak. The barrels selected were predominately sourced from Midleton's A2 traditional stone warehouse which dates back to the 1860s.
