The Legendary Midnight Silkie is a core whiskey for the brand and it is the smokiest release thus far. It is a blend of triple-distilled single malts along with a triple-distilled peated single malt (this comprises 35% of the blend).
The single malt whiskeys were aged in a a variety of casks: sherry, cabernet sauvignon, imperial oatmeal stout, bourbon, and virgin oak. .

Tasting Notes
"The nose is fruity, smoky, and slightly floral, with notes of roasted plums, lichee nut, clove, nutmeg, and smoke that is similar to that of oolong tea. The palate has a slight jasmine florality mixed with cherry and lichee fruit, almond, chestnut, honey, and milk chocolate. The smoke takes on a more meaty quality, like applewood bacon smoke, and mixes well with the other flavors leading to a balanced and lengthy finish. "
