Milam & Greene Port Finished Rye

On the nose rye, grape jelly, red wine barrel, flowers, charred wood, and burnt caramel. Fruity and spicy on the palate; wood, grapes, berries, caramel, rye, ash. Sweet, fruity, and tannic finish.

All in all good. The fruit notes didnt cut through the spice to create the flavor balance i was hoping for. That being said,i very much enjoyed it. Paired with: pork chorizo, apple butter jam, pickled cucumbers & onions, and diet coke. Would drink again, would probably buy again.

Raspberries, syrupy, sweet, rich and honey, pepper

Decent nose fruity floral spice on the end. Good pour.
