Milam & Greene Unabridged Volume 1
Bourbon
Milam & Greene // USA
Unabridged Volume 1 is a limited edition blend of straight bourbon whiskeys. To create the blend, Milam & Greene CEO Heather Greene collaborated with authors and Flaviar.com's resident liquor experts Noah Rothbaum & David Wondrich. Together they decided on a blend which features straight bourbons from 38 barrels from 3 different states (Kentucky, Tennessee and Texas) ranging in age from 2.75 to 14 years.
The heart of the bottling was distilled by Milam & Greene Master Distiller Marlene Holmes using the same mash bill recipe both in Texas and at Kentucky's Bardstown Bourbon Co. It's bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration at 118 proof. Available in the US, Alberta, Canada and online at Flaviar.com. beginning September 2022.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is like a bowl of freshly picked red currants set in an old library, with aromas of leather binding and pleasantly spicy mustiness emanating from the glass. Berry tartness tempers the richness of caramel and roasted nuts on the palate. Dark chocolate and a hint of leather add some earthiness that carries into a medium-long finish. Despite the ABV, the heat is well integrated and not too overpowering. "
