Caramel toffee with a light creamy funk aroma. Vanilla caramel cream flavor. Spicy after the swallow and lingers on the finish. A few drops of water brought out oak and spice.

Nose - dates and flowers, a light caramel, some maltiness, roasted grains Taste - sharp spice and slightly metallic note up front, the mild sweetness and floral notes come though after Finish - sweet transitions to tannic dryness quickly, a sharp spice on your tongue lasts awhile, mild burn

Nose - Very subtle pear/Asian pear vibe, unripe apples, gentle honey spiced black tea, gentle lemon zest Taste - Gentle lightly sour/bitter spice, tropical unripe carambola/starfruit refreshing crispness, unripe apple/pear Finish - Gentle warmth/spice, light generic grainy fruit sweetness, fruity sour/bitter Score - 71/100 Final Thoughts - This one takes a bit to really open up in the glass. This one noses fairly young but not off-putting in any way. Once it hits the palate, it's a strange combination of lightly fruity sweet combined with this refreshing bitter crispness. Sadly this bitterness I get seems to be a bit distracting and kind of throws the entire dram off a bit. It's not bad or horrible by any means. It's drinkable, just not something I'd really reach for again. Would I drink it if offered? - Maybe Would I specifically order it? - No Would I buy a bottle? - No NOTE - All reviews are done without factoring in price.

Decent

Flowers and almonds welcome the nose, with an initial alcoholic disorder which, however, subsides until it disappears letting the whisky breathe. Fruity aromas with orange, gooseberry, blueberries and melon are accompanied by a certain vinous dryness. Honey. Fresh and grassy side on the background, with a touch of wood. Very rich. Freshness is the leitmotif of the tasting, a background that caresses the palate by counteracting the peppering of the mouth. Spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), nuts and fruit (orange, raisins) lie on the turf, with plenty of honey to cover them. Hint of wood. Medium and dry finish, with honey, spices and wood. Not particularly complex but rich, perhaps not yet very balanced but with an underlying freshness that you don't expect. Being the entry level of the distillery, and at a more than affordable price, you can only promote it, giving many expectations for the future.
