Mourne Dew The Pooka

Poitín or poteen is a traditional Irish spirit usually made in a small pot still. It is often made from barley, corn, potatoes or sugar beets. It isn't usually aged, but it can be for up to 10 weeks and it can also be flavored. Its name comes from the Irish word "pota" which means pot.
