Mucha Liga celebrates the lucha libre tradition of Mexican wrestling with three tequilas that embody separate luchador characters in mask-shaped, handmade glass bottles. This style of wrestling is a time honored tradition as is the craft of tequila, here produced using old fashioned methods under sustainable practices in the town of Juanacatlán.
The agave is grown in La Ciénega, an area that boasts nutrient rich soils that have not been subjected to over-harvesting. Canibal is a reposado aged 6 months in ex-bourbon casks.

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".

Tasting Notes
"Orange peel puts most of the other flavors in a headlock, with a sweet taste of vanilla. Stewed agave, ginger and cola spices shine through after a couple of sips. A pleasant oakiness and whiff of smoke comes through in the finish to cut the sweetness. "
