Muchote Reposado Tequila is produced by the Vivanco family, who have been growing agave for five generations.
Using 10-12 year old blue weber agave organically-grown in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, the plants are first steamed in brick ovens before being fermented with champagne yeast.

The tequila is then double-distilled in Alembic copper pot stills before maturing 7 months in used bourbon barrels.

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".
