Flavor isn't as complex as the aroma with burnt caramel, tannic and aged oak, and black cherry. All the complexity returns with a strong and lasting finish that includes tannic and aged oak, burnt caramel, dried black cherry with prune and fig. This is a great bottle for the price.

New Dawn's debut bourbon whiskey is a revelation in craftsmanship. I was excited to try it, and it does not disappoint. Each sip reveals complex flavors; I get layers of caramel, oak, as well as subtle spices and fruit. I'll be gifting New Dawn to all of my friends!
