New Riff Winter Whiskey

Very chocolate nose. Still new riff young, but with a very baking sweet back end.

Had this as a sample. The nose was the best part and it was fabulous chocolate but overall the flavor profile was just okay. A little odd mixture of chocolate and coffee on the pallet (ratio was off), didn’t sit right but may have been an off night for me. I’m glad that I didn’t go hunting for a bottle as it would have been pricey but glad I got to try it.

Good, hotel Covington single barrel. definitely chocolate on the nose, a bit on the palate. Good not great. Wouldn't drink it a lot, but worth a try.
