At first open it was hot but on the second day and letting it breath, the dried fruit notes really start to come out.

Nice nutty nose Had to sit out for 30mins to open up with being a fresh bottle. Some dried fruits with spice. Finish is a little hot but traditional single barrel Old Forester. Lets try it again in another month.

Soft nose with dark fruits on the pallet (touch dry) and with a nice traditional finish.

The little book is the best one that I’ve had, it drinks every bit of 120 proof but somehow after the initial zing, it’s really quite nice. Does need a few drops kd water to open it up.

Very sweet on the nose and is the best part. The pallet seams a 1792 that has been finished, enough to give it some cognac wine notes. It’s a good sipper but says one dimensional. Perhaps after the bottle has time to open up it’ll become better. For $50 I’d get another one just to have.

I really enjoyed it and will be getting another bottle. No pine and a nice amount to sweetness with a lingering spice.
